Training 6 days a week is awesome for 2 reasons: You want to train the majority of your body parts twice a week You simply love going to the gym and have more time to dedicate to bodybuildingas a hobby
If you have to have another workout every weekday and another bodybuilding show then it’s more than likely that you need to get the 5K workout in each and every week, Fly!
That said, I would like to give an overview on how to follow up a 5K workout with more strength and conditioning work, Push‑down.
For those who don’t know what to work on during a 5K, here are the recommended progression for you:
5K progressions should be done in a relatively long and controlled fashion in order to ensure proper results.
Progressions such as:
15-20 minute walk each mile
12 mile sprints
11 mile run
7 mile walk (or 2 hour walk)
Every 5K workout I will be talking about will require a short 15-20 minute walk every mile, and I will be talking about these 2 minutes together for each 5K training session, 6 day bulking workout routine.
The next reason to spend a long and controlled amount of time walking during your 5K is to do more quality work, Bench press. In addition, running during your 5K is a better way to burn calories for the next week.
During your short 15-20 minutes walking workout you should aim for as much heart rate-raising and cardiovascular work as you can do safely, Fly. You’ll be able to raise your power output and make sure that you have plenty of heart rate reserve stored up so that when your next 5K workouts come around you’ll have a great aerobic base to build on.
Running & Cardio

Conversely, if your pace is faster, you’ll be training too hard and you’ll risk damaging your body and possibly your muscles during your next high volume 5K workout.
